Located on the Jonian coast of Basilicata, where the sea is completely unpolluted, the Hotel is just 250 metres from the beautiful sandy beach of Policoro, and it is bordered by a wide pine forest that stretches all along the coast. With its exercise paths and cycle tracks, running for several kilometres, this pine forest is the ideal place for all those who like to exercise while being immersed in nature. Sun and beach, however, are far not the only attractions of this area, which is reach in culture and history, as witnessed by the remains of the archaeological park of Siritide National Museum in Policoro. The Regional Nature Sanctuary of Bosco Pantano is a great example of wetland forest stretching to the sea. Its tangled beauty can only be accessed through trails.
Here, different species of animals can be seen, such as the otter and the caretta caretta turtles that lay eggs on these shores. On the borders of the forest there is a WWF wild animal rescue centre.
