At a distance of about 35 minutes from the airport (45 km), and at 900m from the village of Sissi, directly at the sea, the Kalimera Kriti Hotel & Village Resort has been constructed. The hotel offers 415 rooms, including 141 suites and 40 waterfront bungalows.
The superb design of the spacious Main Building is inspired by the architecture of the Minoan palaces, incorporating neoclassic elements. The three villages are harmoniously spread out in the landscape. Their bungalows are built along the lines of traditional Cretan Architecture. The former fishermen's village of Sissi has remained untouched all these years for a long time. At a distance of about 7 km, the archaeological site of Malia, with its remainders of the Palace of Malia, is a well-known and popular excursion destination.
Located at about 10 km, the city of Malia offers a small old town center, shops, restaurants and an animated night life. Greek night with folklore dances, Fish and Barbeque evenings are weekly events. Furthermore our professional animation team organizes daily activities the whole day for our guests and their children.
